Joel’s passion for prison ministry developed as he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Justice Systems from Truman State University, followed by a Master’s in Survey of Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix. After a successful 10-year career with AT&T, he turned his attention to full-time ministry for the incarcerated. Joel began as a BTL volunteer in 2016 and joined the Bridges to Life staff in 2018.
