Units: Gist, Henley, Hightower, LeBlanc, Lewis, Plane State Jail, Polunsky, Stiles
A native Texan from Crosby, James joined Bridges To Life as Southeast Regional Coordinator in 2019.

Like many of BTL's staff, James has a family member who was a victim of crime: his father was murdered in 1995 during a petty robbery. Though years of anger and bitterness followed, James ultimately recovered with the help and support of his Catholic faith.

After retiring from a career with ConocoPhillips in 2015, James turned his attention to prison ministry as a result of his spiritual journey. Through his volunteer work with St. Kolbe Prison Ministries, he was introduced to Bridges To Life in 2018 and was quickly recognized for his dedication and leadership as a BTL volunteer.

James has been married to wife Cindy for over 30 years. They have three children and three grandchildren.
