Deborah serves as Central Texas Regional Coordinator for Bridges To Life. While working for Hays County Victim Services, Deborah attended a conference in Houston where she learned about Bridges To Life and knew instantly that she wanted to get involved. After volunteering as a BTL facilitator, Deborah joined the staff as a Regional Coordinator in 2003.
As the wife of a man permanently disabled from a DWI accident, Deborah knew well the suffering that can come from another’s bad decision. Unfortunately, it was her husband’s bad decision that had so adversely affected their lives. Understanding that healing and compassion are needed by victims and offenders alike, she saw that Bridges To Life bridged that gap. With God's love and forgiveness at its core, the BTL program offers healing to both sides.
Deborah and Rick live in Wimberley.
