Hutchins State Jail

Hutchins State Jail is located exactly 11.4 miles south of Dallas at the intersection of IH-45 and IH-20, in Dallas County.

From West Dallas area: South on I-35 to I-20. Go East on I-20 to Exit 473 A, J.J. Lemmon Rd. Turn right at the stop sign and go about 200 yards to the next stop sign. Turn left onto Langdon Rd. and go about 1 ½ miles to the Hutchins State Jail entrance.

From North Dallas area: South on Central Expressway (75) to I-45 in downtown Dallas; Continue South on I-45 to Stewart Simpson Rd. (about 10 miles); Left on Stewart Simpson to Hwy. 310 (75); South (right) on Hwy. 310 (75) to Langdon Rd. (about 3.5 miles); Left on Langdon to Hutchins State Jail entrance (about ½ mile)

From Garland: South on 635 (LBJ) / Merge with I-20 and go West on I-20 to Hutchins. Take Exit 474 Texas 310. Turn left at the stop sign and go under the bridge to the first road on the left which is Langdon Rd. You will see the green TDCJ sign to your right. Go left on Langdon to Hutchins State Jail entrance.
